Easily and free of charge
Head of the Sub-agency, Salimin said this service aims to provide convenience to residents, especially traders and people who work in market areas, in processing complete population documents.
Jakarta Steps Up Monitoring of Foreign Residents"They have difficulty getting to the service office due to their busy trading activities at the market. We're here to ensure they can still obtain population documents easily and free of charge," he said, Wednesday (9/30).
He explained that of the 89 residents served, three registered for their electronic ID cards (e-KTP) because they were aged 16–17. Furthermore, 65 activated their Digital Population Identity (IKD).
Four residents then received Family Card (KK) printing services, one Child Identity Card (KIA) printing, and six electronic KTP printing services. Meanwhile, 13 other residents utilized consultation services regarding population administration requirements.
"They were very enthusiastic, both buyers and market traders," he added.
Meanwhile, one of the local residents, Nurhasanah, stated this service is very helpful for residents who are busy with trading activities every day.
"If possible, the service shouldn't be a one-day event. It should be done regularly, especially in markets where there's a lot of activity," she hoped.
